Hanover authorities seek 3 suspects in credit card theft

The Hanover Sheriff’s Office needs the public’s assistance with identifying three individuals suspected of the theft and fraudulent use of a credit card, which resulted in several thousands of dollars in losses.

The theft occurred on March 10 in Hanover where the suspects stole the victim’s wallet from her purse while at a restaurant.  The suspects then immediately used the stolen card at two local retailers in the Metro Richmond area.

The suspects were captured in surveillance images (shown above) recovered during the course of the investigation.  They are described as two adult males and one adult female, who are possibly Latino.

Anyone with information about this incident is asked to contact the Hanover County Sheriff’s Office at (804) 365-6140 or the Metro Richmond Crime Stoppers at (804) 780-1000.  Citizens can also text Crime Stoppers at 274637 (CRIMES), using the keyword “iTip” followed by your tip. Both Crime Stoppers methods are anonymous.
