Hanover makes arrest in armed robbery, seeks additional suspect
Investigators have made one arrest and are seeking a second individual in the Oct. 10 armed robbery at the Brandy Hill apartment complex in Mechanicsville.
Investigators have arrested Ryan M. Davis, 24, of Mechanicsville, for conspiracy to commit robbery. Davis was originally one of the three identified victims in this case, but investigators determined that he conspired with others to facilitate the robbery of the other two individuals.
Investigators have also obtained warrants and are seeking to arrest Devonte Antonio James, 21, of Henrico County, for conspiracy to commit robbery and conspiracy to use a firearm in the commission of a felony for his participation in this crime.
James is a black male, 5 foot 10 inches tall, and weighing approximately 170 lbs. He is known to frequent eastern Henrico, but has contacts throughout metro Richmond. James may be driving a blue 2004 Audi 4-door with the license plate WRL-1811.
