County Public Schools holds Curriculum and Career Fair

The annual Hanover County Public Schools Curriculum and Career Fair is scheduled for Thursday, Nov. 14 from 6 to 8 p.m. Parents and their children in fifth through 11th grades are invited to attend the fair, which will be held at Hanover High School, 10307 Chamberlayne Road, in Mechanicsville.

Core courses, elective, and specialty courses will be represented, giving students and parents the opportunity to learn about the many programs of study that are available to all high school students in the county, including those taught at The Hanover Center for Trades and Technology (THCTT).

The fair will feature guidance and career counselors from Atlee, Hanover, Lee-Davis and Patrick Henry high schools who will be available to answer questions about registration and scheduling.  Career professionals from the business community will also be available to talk with students and their parents about careers in the various fields.
