Ashland police arrest suspect in Martin’s, CVS robberies

Ashland Police have charged a suspect in the Nov. 24 robbery of a CVS pharmacy and the Nov. 10 grand larceny from a Martin’s pharmacy in town.

Acting on several tips from the community, Ashland officers apprehended 34-year-old Clayton Earl Boles yesterday at his residence in the 200 Block of East Omni Court.

Boles has been charged with robbery, use of a firearm in the commission of a felony and grand larceny. He is being held at Pamunkey Regional Jail without bond for these charges as well as an outstanding capias out of Chesterfield County.

The APD extends its gratitude to the media for quickly broadcasting this information, and to the public for their many contributions, which helped to make the quick apprehension possible.
