Concert Ballet of Virginia presents ‘The Nutcracker’

The Concert Ballet of Virginia, the state’s oldest continually operating ballet company presents a variety of versions of the classic favorite, “The Nutcracker,” throughout this holiday season. Among the performances are:

“Nutcracker” Readings: A 30-minute version of “The Nutcracker” story with narration and dances by major characters in costume; suitable for audiences of all ages, very young to seniors; free, open to the public. “The Nutcracker” (full length): The complete version of this classic holiday favorite has been popularly hailed as “one of the best renditions in Virginia” and combines beautiful scenery and bright, colorful costumes set off with exciting, enthusiastic performances.
