Battlefield Green vandalism under investigation

The Sheriff’s Office is investigating a series of vandalism that occurred over the weekend in the Battlefield Green subdivision and are in need of the public’s help in identifying the suspect(s).

Sunday morning, the Sheriff’s Office received multiple reports from homeowners of Christmas decorations that had been vandalized in their yards. Further investigation revealed that the suspect(s) also slashed multiple victims’ car tires.  To date, over 50 victims have been affected.

The Sheriff’s Office has gone door-to-door in an effort to identify victims, as well as to collect information that may be helpful to this investigation.  These efforts are ongoing and increased patrols will continue in this and surrounding neighborhoods.
