The Hanover Arts & Activities Center is sponsoring a Readers Theatre Program this month. Sabrina Lacoss, a senior at Patrick Henry High School, is producing “Twelfth Night” by Shakespeare for her Girl Scout Gold Award project.
This production will give children in the community a chance to showcase its talents by participating in a live reading of William Shakespeare’s famous comedy. Students in grades fourth through eighth can sign up. There are only 13 spots available.
Rehearsals are January 15, 19, 20, 22 and 27 from 4:30-6 p.m. at the Center. The Performance is Jan. 29 at 7 p.m. The five rehearsals and the performance are being offered free of charge. Please call (804) 798-2728 to reserve your spot today.
Students will be accepted on a first-come, first-serve basis. Lorie Foley, director of the Children’s Theatre Programs at the Center, will be assisting with the program.
