Mr. and Mrs. Stephen D. Brown of Glen Allen, are delighted to announce the engagement of their daughter, Robin Katelyn Brown, to Craig Leroy Orndorff, son of Mr. and Mrs. Charles L. Orndorff of Woodstock, Va.
Miss Brown is the granddaughter of the late Mr. and Mrs. Alexander Sandy Brown, formerly of Henrico, and Mr. and Mrs. William Curtis Jowers of Meridian, Miss. and formerly of Glen Allen.
Mr. Orndorff is the grandson of Mrs. Christie Orndorff of Woodstock, Va. and the late Mr. Roy Conrad Orndorff, formerly of Maurertown, Va., and the late Mr. and Mrs. John Edward McInturff, formerly of Strasburg, Va.
Miss Brown is a 2007 graduate of Patrick Henry High School in Ashland. In 2011, Miss Brown received her Bachelor of Science degree from James Madison University, and in 2012, she received her Master of Arts in Teaching degree from James Madison University. She is currently a fifth grade teacher at Ashby Lee Elementary School in Shenandoah County.
Mr. Orndorff is a 2004 graduate of Central High School in Woodstock, Va. In 2008, Mr. Orndorff received his Bachelor of Arts degree in History and Government from the University of Virginia. Mr. Orndorff is currently employed as a Political Director on a congressional campaign in Northern Virginia. He is also currently preparing for a future career in law enforcement.
A formal engagement party was held Nov. 9, 2013 at Stone Horse Creek Farm in western Hanover County.
A July 12, 2014 wedding in Elkton, Va. is planned, and the couple will reside in Maurertown, Va.
