Randolph-Macon holds annual basketball camp
It is every player’s dream: making the winning shot and being mobbed on the court in celebration.

It happened to Chickahominy Middle School student Will Sutkus as the third day of the Nathan Davis Randolph-Macon Basketball Camp wrapped up Tuesday afternoon. With the rest of the campers gathered courtside to watch a “first score wins” overtime, Sutkus took a pass on the right wing, draining a jumper to set off a mini-mob scene with teammates and coaches.
“I just got an open chance and took it,” Sutkus said, noting his biggest hope entering camp on Sunday was to improve his defense.
“It’s not up to par yet, not what I was thinking,” Sutkus noted.
You can be sure the coaches and staff, populated by Yellow Jacket players, will do their best to check that off Sutkus’ bucket list.
