Arrests made in string of car break-ins in Ashland
Three Ashland men and one juvenile face multiple charges related to a series of local vehicle break-ins.
According to the Ashland Police Department, in the evening hours of Dec. 30, officers received information that several vehicles were broken into in the Town of Ashland between Dec. 29 and 30.
A citizen reported that several of the items which were taken from one of the vehicles were listed on the Internet for sale. Officers quickly developed further information and worked to identify the sellers. Officers were able to contact the sellers and determine the suspects from the vehicle larcenies.
Scott Alexander Kiser, 18, Justin Wayne Robertson, 20, and Anthony Christopher Ball, 18, all of Ashland, have been arrested on several felony and misdemeanor criminal charges in connection with these crimes, including grand larceny, receiving stolen property, sale of stolen property and concealing a weapon.
Many of the stolen items have been recovered. Multiple victims have notified police and there are possibly more victims which have not contacted police yet. Investigators ask that you contact the Ashland Police Department if you believe your vehicle may have been broken into during this time frame.
