The Youth Group at Hopeful Baptist Church will host an afternoon of fundraising at the church Sunday, Jan. 20.
A chili lunch will begin at noon and will feature chili with toppings, bread, crackers, dessert and drink at a cost of $7 for adults and $4 for children under 11. The lunch will be followed by an auction starting at 1:30 p.m. Items up for bid include a variety of services such and goods such as babysitting services, dinners for two, cleaning services and more. This bi-annual event is always a fun time.
All proceeds from the day will benefit the Youth Group’s efforts to raise funds for their Mission Trip to Knoxville, Tenn. in July of this year.
