Forest Grove UMC Forest Grove United Methodist Women will host their annual Baked Spaghetti Dinner Friday, April 24, from 5 to 7 p.m. Dinner consists of baked spaghetti, tossed salad, bread, dessert, and a beverage.   • Central Virginia Masterworks Chorale presents spring concerts in May

    The Central Virginia Masterworks Chorale is looking forward to two performances of its 2015 spring concert, featuring the Duruflé Requiem, Four Motets on Gregorian themes, and Shenandoah, an American folk song arranged by the late James Erb. Artistic Director David Sinden will conduct the Chorale, and concert organist Daniel Stipe will accompany as well as perform.   • Ruritans hold annual Easter Egg Hunt

    The Clay Springs Ruritan Club will sponsor its annual community-wide Easter Egg Hunt at Slash Christian Church, 11353 Mount Hermon Road, in Ashland, Saturday, April 4, at 10 a.m. (weather permitting).     Naturally, as a reverend Kendra Swager stays fairly busy. But, when she’s not delivering her Sunday sermon, Swager leads various programs at Duncan Memorial United Methodist Church aimed at helping the less fortunate in Hanover County.
