    American Family Fitness is hosting the Family Fun Day Saturday, June 22 from 10 a.m. – 2 p.m. at Virginia Center Commons in the parking lot near the food court entrance.     The Mechanicsville TEA Party will host a Forum Panel Discussion Thursday, June 6 at 7 p.m. on “What is a Conservative” featuring former U.S. Senate Candidate Jamie Radtke, State Senator Tom Garrett and long time Republican activist Todd Vander Pol as panelists discussing the various elements of what defines a conservative today. The program will be moderated by Robin Lawson, editor of the award-winning West Point newspaper, the Tidewater Review.

    All branches of the Pamunkey Regional Library will be closed Friday, June 7. Families are invited to take part in the 2013 Summer Reading Program at all branches June 8 through Aug. 10.
