Snow White, Super Dwarves to save world at Ashland Theater

By DANIEL SHERRIER H-P Editor   When the forces of evil threaten the United States, only Snow White and her friends can save the day in a new children’s musical set to debut in the Ashland Theater April 11. “Snow White and the Super Dwarves” is the latest production from the local Whistle Stop Theatre Company and the group’s first to be performed in the Ashland Theater along Route 54.

    Alexander and the Terrible, Horrible, No Good, Very Bad Day

    “Alexander and the Terrible, Horrible, No Good, Very Bad Day” will be shown at the Ashland Theater Saturday, March 28, at 3 p.m. This movie will be run by kids! That’s right – Ashland youth will be running concessions, projection and taking tickets, too! The Ashland Theater Committee believes this is giving opportunities to our youth.

  • Ruritans hold annual Easter Egg Hunt

    The Clay Springs Ruritan Club will sponsor its annual community-wide Easter Egg Hunt at Slash Christian Church, 11353 Mount Hermon Road, in Ashland, Saturday, April 4, at 10 a.m. (weather permitting). Children 1 to 12 years of age are welcome to come and join in the fun. Prizes will be awarded.
