      The Thomas Jefferson High School Cadet Corps Alumni Band & Friends along with the current TJHS Band will perform a benefit concert on Thursday, April 24, 2014 – 7:00 PM – 9:00 PM – in the auditorium of Thomas Jefferson High School, 4100 West Grace St., Richmond, VA 23230. Tickets may be purchased in advance by contacting Ernie Huband at, (804) 270-3838 or at the door the night of the performance. Adults – $10.00, Students – $5.00. All proceeds to benefit the current TJHS Band. Come on out for a trip down memory lane as you listen to the TJCC Alumni Band play the timeless marches they were known for and hear the current TJHS Band present their award winning performance.

      Dual Recovery Anonymous meets Thursdays at the Thomas Hale Education Center at Sunrise House.

      Dual Recovery Anonymous is for those seeking relief from an emotional or mental disorder & a co-occurring substance abuse problem.

      The group is peer run, meaning that it is run by people with a mental illness and substance abuse history.

      Come race the rail at one of Central Virginia’s longest established road races! This certified 10k race is a favorite spring ritual among runners from across the Commonwealth and beyond! This is our 6th year as a GREEN race – and the Green Fair will be back again this year on the lawn! Start and finish “on the tracks” in our picturesque railroad town, known as the “Center of the Universe”! Other events include a 5k Walk/Run,1 Mile Kid’s Fun Run, and the COTU Challenge-race both the 5k and 10k. 10K-$25, 5K-$20, Kid’s 1 Mile – $10, COTU Challenge – $35. All prices go up $5 on race day.
