      Sh-boom! Sh-boom!

The Crooning Crabcakes (the boys who were banned from the Wonderettes prom) are rehearsing for the Dream of a Lifetime Talent Search, hosted by Big Whopper Radio. Their dream of making it to the big-time is complicated by romantic entanglements with their coach, Lois, and their 60’s doo-wop songs say it all: “Fools Fall in Love”, “Earth Angel”, “Runaround Sue”, “Unchained Melody”, “The Glory of Love”, and 17 more hits. Winner of the Los Angeles Drama Critics Circle Best Musical Award. You’ll be humming these tunes all the way home!

    1. Give Me Chocolate or Give Me Death (by Chocolate)!
      11:00 am – 4:00 pm

In the spirit of the man who did not mince his words, we give you American’s favorite treat! A day with Mars Chocolate North America who is dedicated to sharing chocolate’s fascinating journey through time – how chocolate was made, how it was used, where it came from, and what it tasted like throughout history. Chocolate has been woven through the fabric of American culture for centuries. With its origin in the rain forests of Central and South America at least 3,500 years ago, chocolate’s rich history is intertwined in the stories of our ancestors. Along with our docents we will bring the history of chocolate to life through lectures, tastings and interactive demonstrations. A team of Mars Chocolate History Ambassadors share chocolate’s journey through one‐on‐one historical bean‐to‐beverage demonstrations using authentic tools including cocoa pods, cocoa beans and nibs, a hot stone metate, winnowing baskets, chocolate drink pots and molinos. Guests are able to see, touch, taste and smell the historic chocolate‐making experience at every demonstration. As always children 6 and under are FREE
