    1. Be The Match Walk+Run
      7:30 am – 11:00 am

YOU have the power to cure blood cancer. Join us for the upcoming Be The Match® Walk+Run in Richmond, VA! Each year, thousands of patients need a marrow transplant, but have no donor match in their family. They depend on Be The Match to help them find an unrelated marrow donor and receive treatment. The cure for blood cancer is in the hands of ordinary people – your hands The Richmond Be The Match Walk+Run is Saturday, June 1 and will include a 5K, 1K, and Tot Trot. Be The Match Walk+Run raises funds to: o help patients with uninsured treatment costs, o support continued marrow transplant research to improve outcomes, and o add more volunteer potential marrow donors to Be The Match Registry®, giving more patients hope for a cure. Visit BeTheMatchWalkRun.org to register, fundraise and volunteer. Sponsorship opportunities are also available, and range from title sponsorships, to sponsoring a water station, to having a booth at the event.
