This collaborative exhibition between faculty and students in Virginia Commonwealth University’s School of Engineering and School of Arts with the Science Museum of Virginia presents two and three dimensional artistic interpretations that will inspire and encourage guests to make informed lifestyle choices!

    3. 150th Anniversary Commemoration of the Capture of Lincoln’s Assassin

      Join Caroline County in commemorating the 150th Anniversary of the Capture of Lincoln’s Assassin. Events will occur throughout the county! Visit the HistoryMobile at the Caroline County Visitor Center in Ruther Glen for FREE on Saturday and Sunday. Follow Booth’s path to the Town of Port Royal, which in combo with Belle Grove Plantation across the river, will be offering tours, reenactments, music and more. Continue up to the Town of Bowling Green to have lunch with “President Lincoln and his First Lady”. Some events require a purchased tickets.       Our beautiful starlit sky conceals cataclysmic forces at work within the universe. Catch a glimpse of the immense power of these enigmatic forces – from black holes to exploding stars. Examine a future encounter with a large asteroid that comes too close for comfort and consider the possibilities as you witness the catastrophes of the cosmos! Violent Universe features a live astronomy presentation.

      Kick back with your friends for an evening filled with fun and surprises! Enjoy craft beers from Center of the Universe Brewing Company while listening to live music by Premiere. Test your skill at the casino table, enter a corn hole tournament, watch Richmond’s NASCAR race live and bid on some terrific silent auction items. The night will culminate with a raffle drawing for a $10,000 shopping spree at Stony Point Fashion Park! Casual dinner is included. Event tickets and raffle tickets available at www.dsagr.com. All proceeds benefit the Down Syndrome Association of Greater Richmond. Attendees must be 21 yrs+. Raffle entrants must be 18 yrs+ and need not be present to win.
