Tree of Opportunity Fundraising Gala Hosted by Divine Endowments, Inc.

The financial status of a child’s family should not predetermine or limit early childhood development and educational opportunities, and at Divine Endowments, Inc., we are committed to expanding these opportunities and making a difference!

Join us in Bridging the Gap as we host our Tree of Opportunity Fundraising Gala on April 5, 2014 from 6:00pm to 10:00pm at the Gateway Dining & Event Center, on the campus of Virginia State University, Virginia 23806.

Dr. Cavell Phillips, Master of Ceremony will headline a wonderful evening in support of the young scholars of the Richmond Metropolitan Area.

Divine Endowments, Inc. serves as the only nonprofit organization within the State of Virginia with the main objective of Bridging the Gap and providing funding assistance for early childhood educational development for qualified economically self-sufficient families within the Richmond Metropolitan Area; fully taking advantage of the First Five developmental years.

At Divine Endowments, we convert funding into early childhood educational opportunities with the ultimate goal of expanding access to a premium, curriculum rich early childhood education. Knowing that a child’s brain undergoes its most dramatic growth with 90% of development taking place during the First Five years of their life; we are committed to helping build strong educational foundations for literacy and life-long learning!

Share in our excitement as we look to fund our inaugural class in September of this year! With 100% of the proceeds going to the cause, your tax deductible ticket purchase will make that possible! To learn more, visit: www.divine-endowments.org.

Tickets can now be purchased by calling 804.586.8906 or by visiting: www.divine-endowments.org

    1. Kindergarten Registration
      8:00 am – 4:00 pm

Kindergarten registration is Thursday, April 10, 2014

Kindergarten registration is Thursday, April 10, 2014, for all public schools in the Richmond region, including Hanover County. Children who will be 5 years old by September 30 are eligible to enter kindergarten in the fall. But first, they need to be registered. On-time registration for kindergarten helps the school systems plan for attendance, but more importantly helps your child enter school ready to succeed. Visit www.readychildren.net or dial “211” to learn what documentation and health forms you need to bring to register your child. Starting early is right on time.
