    1. Fast Footwork and Moves Camp – Soccer
      10:00 am – 12:00 pm

      (Ages U9-U12) This program is high impact and quality oriented. It is designed for higher level recreation or travel players that want to take soccer to the next level. Players are the taught foundational and fundamental moves to take on opponents in a 1v1 duel. The training at this level will include: technical skills, 1v1 tactical, and 2v2 tactical development. The objective of the Fast Footwork camp for younger age groups is to ensure that players leave feeling more comfortable with the ball and their ability to take defenders on.     3. Dual Recovery Anonymous
      5:30 pm – 6:30 pm

      Dual Recovery Anonymous meets Thursdays at the Thomas Hale Education Center at Sunrise House.

      Dual Recovery Anonymous is for those seeking relief from an emotional or mental disorder & a co-occurring substance abuse problem.

      The group is peer run, meaning that it is run by people with a mental illness and substance abuse history.

      This excellent group supports people with both mental illness and substance abuse history. Please join us for fellowship in the 12-step tradition. There are no fees, registration forms or advanced notice necessary!

    4. Fourth Annual Kevin Rogers Memorial Scholarship Event
      5:30 pm – 8:30 pm

      J. Sargeant Reynolds Community College will host the Fourth Annual Kevin Rogers Memorial Scholarship Event in support of the Respiratory Therapy program and the Center for Culinary Arts. The event will be held on Thursday, July 18 in the Via Club at the Pebble Creek Clubhouse located at 6069 Green Haven Drive in Mechanicsville from 5:30 p.m. – 8:30 p.m. The cost is $30.00 for adults and $15.00 for children and includes a light picnic dinner beginning at 6 p.m. prepared by JSRCC Culinary Arts students. Additional beverages will be available for purchase. Activities include cornhole, casino-style games, a silent auction, music and dancing.

      (Ages U7-U14) This camp is designed for recreational players who want to increase their skill and knowledge of the game. Activities for these players will be fun and more instructional in content. Curriculum for this camp includes but is not limited to Individual Ball Control, Passing, Shooting, Principles of Possession, and Defending.
