      Black Creek Baptist

      Saturday, March 30, Black Creek Baptist Church, 6289 McClellan Road, Mechanicsville, is hosting an Easter Egg Hunt for ages 2-10 from 11 a.m. to 1 p.m. Children should bring their Easter baskets, come out and enjoy free hotdogs and chips for lunch, and participate in an Easter craft activity, all while hunting for eggs!       Black Creek Baptist is also having two Easter Sunday worship services. Our sunrise service will be held at Sweets Pond (adjacent to the church) at 6:30 a.m. The second service will be held in the church sanctuary at 10:15 a.m. The Adult Choir will present the Easter Musical Written in Red.       Dual Recovery Anonymous is for those seeking relief from an emotional or mental disorder & a co-occurring substance abuse problem.

      The group is peer run, meaning that it is run by people with a mental illness and substance abuse history.
