    1. Hanover High’s 10th Anniversary Celebration: Shaun Canon’s Live for Music Concert
      6:30 pm – 9:00 pm

      In celebration of Hanover High School’s 10th Anniversary, the Hanover High Music Department is hosting Shaun Canon’s Live for Music Tour. Shaun Canon, a former season 7 American Idol alum, will be performing his concert with the talented music students of Hanover High School on Tuesday, November 20th at the Hanover High School Auditorium at 7pm; doors open at 6:30pm.

      The group is peer run, meaning that it is run by people with a mental illness and substance abuse history.

      TransAuthority, Inc. located at 11525 N Lakeridge Parkway, Ashland, VA 23005 is a certified collection center for Toys for Tots campaign. On Dec. 18 Toys for Tots will come to our showroom and collect all the toys so they can distribute to needy children in our community. Bring a new unwrapped toy and we’ll make sure it gets delivered in time for Christmas.

      Nutzy’s Rotary Funn Run 5k
      Saturday, Dec. 1
      Start time: 7:30 a.m. at The Diamond
      This family oriented, fun-filled 5k race incorporates part of the annual Dominion Richmond Christmas Parade route.
      Four flights will race including a stroller division. Racers are encouraged to attend the Dominion Christmas Parade after the race.  Cost is $25 per participant.

    2. 2012 Invitational Miniature Exhibit
      6:00 pm – 8:00 pm

      Gallery Flux has invited 25 regional artists to exhibit a miniature collection of their works for the 2012 holidays. Each artist will exhibit between four to eight pieces, no larger than 8” x 8”.   All work is priced between $40 and $400 to encourage entry level collecting.

      Opening Reception for the Artists:  Thursday, Dec. 6, 2012 from 6 to 8 p.m.

      Show continues through Saturday, Jan. 12, 2013.
