    1. “Always…Patsy Cline”
      2:00 pm – 8:00 pm

“Always…Patsy Cline,” a Barksdale Theatre production at Hanover Tavern, is more than a tribute to the legendary country singer who died tragically at age 30 in a plane crash in 1963. The musical play, complete with down-home country humor, true emotion and even some audience participation, includes many of Patsy’s unforgettable hits such as “Crazy,” “I Fall to Pieces,” “Sweet Dreams” and “Walking After Midnight”—27 songs in all. Contact the box office at (804) 282-2620 or www.barksdalerichmond.org.

      10:00 am – 5:00 pm

      Saturday, June 2, 10am-5pm
The 2012 Ashland Strawberry Faire, since 1982,  will be celebrating the berries festival-style on the streets surrounding Randolph Macon College with over 200 vendors of arts & crafts, food, antiques, live music, animals, kidz zone, civic groups, face-painting, Ashland and other local businesses, Little Miss and Little Mr. Strawberry pageants, and much more. Join us for a  family fun-fulled day with no admission fee, as we raise money for college scholarships for each of our Hanover County high schools as well as support other charities.  To become a vendor, register for the pageant, or become a much appreciated volunteer, apply online on our website at www.ashlandstrawberryfaire.com.  If you do not have web access, 804 614-5655.
