The Independence Ruritan Club will be having their semi-annual Brunswick Stew sale on Saturday, September 30, at the Ruritan Clubhouse located behind Independence Christian Church, 14017 Independence Road (off Route 54 west of Ashland).  The stew will be available from 11 a.m. – 2 p.m. for only $7 a quart.  Quantity is limited.  To reserve yours in advance call 798-5171 or 798-6579 ASAP. The proceeds from this activity will help provide three scholarships for the Class of 2018 at Patrick Henry High School. In conjunction with this stew sale the Disciples Women of Independence Church are having a bake sale.  The ladies are great cooks and they sell out fast.  Come early to get the best selection.
