The Hanover AARP Chapter is hosting Dr.Alphine Jefferson, professor of history at Randolph Macon College, Feb. 5 beginning at 10 a.m. in the Hanover Arts & Activities Center in Ashland. Dr. Jefferson will be presenting an in-depth account of the challenges faced by African American during America’s early history. The public is cordially invited.
