Residents critical of CSB action

Three Hanover County residents approached the Board of Supervisors last week to express their concerns about the Community Services Board.
One woman spoke at Citizens' Time during the afternoon portion of the Board's Aug. 25 meeting, and two more spoke during the evening portion of the meeting that same day.
When the County's Fiscal Year 2011 budget was proposed earlier this year, it included a recommendation to reduce from three to two the number of group homes for adults with intellectual disabilities. The Community Services Board (CSB) operates the group homes.
