Elizabeth Anne Carter Sleeman,

73, of Beaverdam passed away peacefully with her family surrounding her Friday, May 5, 2017.  Anne was born Dec. 16, 1943 to the late Everett and Dora Collawn Carter.  In 1962 Anne graduated from Caroline High School, then attended Radford University.  In 1965, while working at Fort A. P. Hill, she met and married John Sleeman.  A caring wife, mother, grandmother, sister, aunt and sister-in-law. Her family was the most important of Anne’s life, but her most enjoyment was her four grandchildren. Survivors include her husband of 51 years, John Sleeman of Beaverdam; son Greg Sleeman and his son, Christopher of Unionville, PA, daughter, Lori Matulevich and her husband Jonathan and her three children, Tyler, Hannah and Ella of Fl; son, Jeff of Pa; five siblings, Dorothy Carter Stevens and her husband, Wayne, Everett Carter, Jr. and his companion, Becky Richet, David Carter and his wife, Judy, Linda Wax and her husband, Ricky, and Michael Carter and his companion Dianne Burgess all of Woodford and several nieces and nephews. A visitation for the Celebration of Life will be held at 4-8 pm Friday, May 26 at Storke Funeral Home, Bowling Green.
