Update:Investigators from the Hanover Sheriff’s Office and Henrico Police Department believe that the robbery of a pharmacy over the weekend may be connected to a similar robbery of a CVS that occurred in Henrico County July 15.
In both instances, a black male suspect, shown in surveillance photos shielding his face with a towel, displayed a firearm to a cashier, demanded cash and prescription pills, and fled on foot.
The investigation into the incidents is ongoing.
Hanover authorities are trying to locate the man they say displayed a firearm before robbing a local pharmacy over the weekend.
